Family class, preserve those drawings on a set of plates.

Remember when there were rainbows drawn on everything? Back when our girls were little we had rows of girls skipping and a lot of bees, I'm still finding these little marks & they always make me smile. Rather than piling drawings up in dusty boxes why not get them drawn now onto beautiful handmade plates that you’ll use every day. (Just don’t think about that day they leave home and you're washing these memories up 😢) And hang on, adults your designs are great too- preserve your current passion / moment / words forever.

You decide on small or large plates, (I can scale the price up for more than 4). I’ll make the plates in this rich black clay painted with liquid white, you’ll scratch and draw through the white to create your drawings or letters. You’ll decide on glaze options.

How this works:
-Book your class here and I’ll contact you to get your date agreed for a one hour class. My studio is at Thames-side Studios, where there is good parking or regular buses. I can do week days, weekends or evenings.

-Your plates will be pre-made ready for your class (I need a weeks’ notice), black stoneware painted with white slip (liquid clay).

-I’ll show you how to get the best from the mark making and design, and help with select a tool that’s comfortable.
