Classes, find out more

Classes are generally held at my pottery studio. Studio 42, unit 4, Thames-side studios SE18 5NR

Set up your own date, time & group in my studio, generally max is 4, with each to their own double workbench Browse classes
Larger groups can be booked into an additional space at Thames-side just 30 seconds from my own space.
Ask about your particular date or if you don't see exactly what you need and need a different class written. Contact me here

All prices include materials, firing and glazing. Work is collected from either SE18 or SE7 around four weeks after class.

👶 Children are extremely welcome but let's chat about a sat space and a shorter class, a discussion will clarify what we both need / which project is most likely to inspire.

🎉You are most welcome to create this as a celebration or team build session for your group. You are very welcome to bring drinks & snacks and I can set up a covered table in the larger space for cakes etc.

👩‍🏫 I have taught under fives, SEN students, children, teens, adults, over 80's, vulnerable adults, GCSE students and at university level. I've taught community groups, privately and in schools. I run sessions which animate museum & archive collections, create community and support well-being outcomes. I also teach small business skills / building cost & profit sessions. Terms and Conditions of booking:
Group bookings: I run small inclusive closely tutored classes where I encourage companionship & encouragement for all. It is significantly impactful if I lose any bookings that I cannot refill where I need to continue with the date due to the other bookings. When booking yourself into a group class: 20 days or more before the start date of a course or session I can provide a full refund (minus a £5 booking fee). Between 21 and 14 days prior to the start of a course or session I can refund 50% of the total fees paid (minus a £5 booking fee). I sadly can't provide a refund in the last two weeks before the start date of the course or session. I am of course v happy for you to send someone else in your place.

Private bookings: if you need to postpone the session I am as flexible as possible with finding a new date, and the room charge may be incurred if I have hired the additional space. I do understand how complex our lives & re-gathering a group can be! It's easier to find new dates before the Autumn / Christmas rush starts and be mindful that I have some weekend markets and other commitments already booked.

Group classes
In my studio this will generally be around 4 people if not explicitly stated. I like students to have space for working and for spreading out tools and sketchbooks etc. I have a double workbench facing another double workbench and then two other double workbenches. Let me know if you need sat space or any specific learner needs that I can help with.

Private classes
Can be booked with arrangement to your own timings weekdays, weekends, evenings, whenever it fits with your life style or special date. If you need a larger group I can hire a bigger space and take what we need in there-it is very close to my studio in a beautiful room overlooking the river, it can be dressed and made to feel festive.

picnic space, bring your packed lunch, there are tables on site to eat at with attractive planting etc.

Access to my studio for classes or appointments:
There are hundreds of studios at Thames-side, SE185NR but mine is easy to find from the easy and free open car parking. Come through the main barrier and turn right immediately. Follow the car park route up to as far the river, and then left alongside the river wall. You'll then be be turning left into a narrow strip in front of a row of studios facing the car park on the far side, unit 4, studio 42. The access is level over a slight door rim and there is a toilet inside my studio. Please ask me about how I can accommodate your learner or learning needs.
