Spoon rest, Blackheath tea hut #LoveLocal
£26.00
A neat spot for the spoons next to the kettle, and it may even house a few tea bags before they get as far as the compost bin. Includes a line drawing of locally loved Blackheath tea hut.
The Blackheath tea hut was first established on a handy stretch of Blackheath common in 1924. Providing 24 hour teas to all drivers there was a huge reaction of loss and sadness when it was flattened in January 2020 by a reckless driver. It is still hoped that the facility will be resurrected but the dear little hut seems gone forever.
Approx 14cm x 11cm, food and dishwasher safe.
Black clay, white glaze, decal.
