2025
OCTOBER
Saturday Oct 25th, Royal Arsenal Farmers Maker's Market, Artillary Square Woolwich, SE18
10-4, craft and produce in the historic setting of the Woolwich Arsenal. Whiz there on the Lizzie line. Woolwich works, Dial Arch Pub, lovely riverside walks and PunchDrunk Theatre are all close by.
NOVEMBER
Sunday 2nd, Makers Market, Severndroog Castle, Castle wood, Shooters Hill, SE18 3RT, 10-3pm. One of my favourite markets sited in quiet woodland. Combine with a beautiful walk, visit to the attractive tea rooms and the most amazing viewing platform, it's a whole day out. Hot drinks, dog walkers and autumnal walks.
Thursday 6th, GROUP CLASS, 7-9pm, seasonal table candle holder. A favourite class being repeated after such joy found in 2024, make a ceramic setting plate for seasonal candle decoration, you might like to make a wreath but last years included ingenious models of toy trains, pork pies, cats sprawled in front of Christmas tv...make it your own! Two hours, £54 Find out more and book here
Saturday 8th, Royal Arsenal Farmers Maker's Market, Artillary Sqaure Woolwich, SE18
Sunday 9th, GROUP CLASS, 10-12 or 2-4pm, [and as above, for Thurs 6th]
Saturday 15th, Plumstead Community Market 11-4pm The most lovely community makers market and **Shhh**, keep it quiet but this is the best place for absolute bargain hand made cake, pickles and teas. It's from another world! Drop in for the tea and find original handmade prints, ceramics and hand mades. Outside John Rastall is selling some of his studio ceramic collection which is well worth a look and opposite the common opens out in front of you. A lovely spot and a very dear market.
Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd, Thames-side Studios Christmas sale, Thames-side Studios, SE185NR. A wildly successful day last year held at my studios two mins walk from my own space, two days this year and should be a fantastic event. In 2024 it was featured on BBC London radio, people came from all over London and it was established as a 'must go to', come early, free parking.
