CLASS, Summer 2026, children & family, from £30pp [1 hour]

A shorter one hour class for children and families, join a session or arrange at a time that suits you, morning or afternoon, including weekends. Your child will need to be big enough to sit to a table space in a regular chair & be prepared to give those under 7 your close help, alongside me of course! SEN welcome. *booking generally for max of four but I can create additional space if needed, let’s discuss. Each group to include one adult if any children are under 12. And you are welcome to book your 12yrs and over group in without you, there is a lovely cafe on site where you can have a peaceful hour!

Examples of projects,

-Butterly and insect drinking dish

-tile painting / carving

-hand built bowls with painted colour

-children’s painted plates / seasonal landscapes.

-seasonal figures. (More complex projects for older children over more than one session can be discussed too). Ask me which projects are recommended for your group here or note your preference on your booking.

👧Enjoy friendly and age appropriate tuition in a professional fully equipped studio. You’ll use studio grade stoneware clay and tools in the studio workspace & we’ll work together to explore this remarkable material which children respond very positively to, with multiple benefits for learning and well being. Your work will be fully fired and glazed.

👦 Price includes the session, all materials & use of tools, & all firing and glazing.

🧒Collection to be arranged, your work should be ready in around 4 weeks.

👧DBS checked & certified, public liability insured and I am experienced at working with children in small or larger groups.

🪴 The studio has level access with toilet integral to my space. Let me know if any of your group has additional learner needs.

🪴 Children’s classes for a bigger group, older children or party can also be booked for a specific date in an additional and very nice sat space [which I hire & book] 30 secs around the corner. Let me know how many you're intending to book for (around 8 children max please) and I can quote & check this availability. Children’s party groups or special family gatherings with an activity for everyone are all great in this lovely setting and there is plenty of space for a cake table and observing parents / carers.
